Fundamentals

25 – 28 July 2019, (Thursday – Sunday), 9am – 5.30pm

Island Bay
21 Witham Street, Wellington, New Zealand

Course Title:
(Mod 1) BodyTalk: Fundamentals – Part 1

Course Overview:
Currently, the general approach to modern health care is undergoing a radical change. There is a paradigm shift afoot in our understanding of dis-ease and how and why it manifests in the human living system. The body has an innate ability to heal itself; however, this ability is hindered by many factors such as physical, emotional, mental, biochemical, and environmental stressors. The BodyTalk SystemTM operates out of this new scientific understanding; blending quantum physics with ancient philosophical knowledge to assist the body in remembering how to heal itself.

(Mod 2) BodyTalk: Fundamentals – Part 2

This course builds on the knowledge gained in BodyTalk Fundamentals- Part 1 and expands the treatment techniques to include the entire basic BodyTalk system. Once again, both the theory and the practical aspects of the BodyTalk treatment techniques are covered. The elements of the BodyTalk protocol addressed in this course are as follows:

Lymphatic Drainage and Anatomy & Physiology

5 – 7 September 2019, (Thursday – Saturday), 9am – 6pm.

Hillier Centre, 31 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui

Course Overview:

This course expands upon the knowledge of the human body through the application of Western anatomy and physiology as it pertains to the BodyTalk system coupled with an introduction to the qualities and characteristics attributed to the organs, endocrines and systems by Eastern medical theory and practice. This hands-on course includes the study of the Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage (VMLD), an innovative and highly effective approach to encouraging healthy functioning of the lymphatic system.

Course Description

The Lymphatic Drainage and Applied Anatomy and Physiology course holds the key to unlocking the door to the incredible world of the human body from macrocosm to microcosm. This course is an introduction to a whole new way of learning about the amazing human body while developing the subtle senses and the right brain. BodyTalk formulas will take on a whole new energy as items, links, parcels, packages and satellites are viewed as three dimensional, living, breathing structures and relationships.

In this class, the five senses will be developed to a whole new level of acuity while learning the significance of details, the power of the word, the influence of visualization on the subconscious and the healing influence of touch. The experiential exercises that are explored will help to develop not only physical sense of touch, but the subtle sense of touch, sight and sound.

Armed with these new tools, the lymphatic system will be explored with the Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage. This safe, effective, and remarkably easy technique is one that supports the lymphatic system from a very unique perspective. The lymphatic system is an integral part of the immune system but influences everything from organ function, hormonal levels, energy flow and energy levels, heart and circulatory health, and emotional balance. This technique provides a powerful way of supporting lymphatic health within the context of a BodyTalk session or as a stand- alone technique. VMLD also serves as a medium for practitioners to approach any “manual manipulation” technique from an energy perspective developing the ability to work off the body or at a distance.

Practitioner Mastery Day

8 September 2019, (Sunday), 9am – 6pm

Hillier Centre, 31 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui

Students of BodyTalk Fundamentals and AdvCBP’s are invited to join Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and Senior Certified BodyTalk Instructor, Dr. Tracey Clark, to further develop their craft as a BodyTalk Practitioner through the Art of Observation.

Tracey holds a Doctorate and PhD in Integrative Medicine and is a gifted BodyTalk Practitioner who integrates Osteopathy, Fascial Energetics, Orthopedic Evaluation and Manual Lymphatic Drainage into her BodyTalk sessions, as required.

The act of observing sessions not only increases one’s understanding of how to integrate different styles and techniques into sessions; it also magnifies the efficacy of the session by exponentially increasing awareness.

As BodyTalk Practitioners, our most important tool is the ability to observe potential. The communication of that potential and its significance is a vital aspect of the art of practice. Observe the intake, interview, evaluation, balancing, and explanation from beginning to end to see how an effective practitioner/client interaction truly embodies the art of healing.

This is an independent mastery class and therefore is not sponsored by the International BodyTalk Association and is not subject to IBA CEUs.
